WILD WOMAN

During the previous full moon on April 19th I was reminded how potent connecting with Wild Woman, an energy within all women, an energy that knocks on our door to remind us that we come alive when we freely express our emotions out amongst nature without any inhibitions and without any concern for who may be watching, Wild Woman taps into both our innate and intuition, she is connected to the Earth, yet fully aware of the stars, she is natural and normal, she feels, moves, screams, dances, runs, chases, even howls or hisses, she has adrenaline, potentially anger (as fuel), she has a desire for change, and releases all that is not serving her Highest good while simultaneously calling in change, she is absolute magic, wild, yet magic!

Anger can be great fuel for us when we are aware of it and allow ourselves to naturally express it (not direct it at anyone, this may cause feelings of guilt, regret or shame, simply express it in our own space/way, personally I prefer to be amongst Nature, Nature isn't afraid of anger, sometimes we’re in tune with each other (more often than not), She seems to express her anger too, and it feels so good to be expressing mine amongst her loud and destructive storms, or big ocean waves crashing down, they comfort me, I know I am not alone, I know I am natural and normal, as well as exquisite.

This simple reminder by Clarissa Pinkola Estes in Women Who Run With the Wolves, sums up the importance of exploring both our rage and wild nature:

These are some common illusions about rage. "If I lose my rage, I will be changed; I will become weaker." (The first premise is correct, but the conclusion is inaccurate.) "I learned my rage from my father [mother, grandmother, etc.] and I am doomed to feel this way all my life." (First statement, accurate; conclusion inaccurate). These illusions are challenged by questing, by asking, studying, peering under the trees, and by climbing the body of the mountain. We lose our illusions when we take the risk to meet the aspect of our nature that is truly wild; a mentor of life, rage, patience, suspicion, wariness, secretiveness, remoteness, and resourcefulness...' Estes, C.P. 1992, Women Who Run With The Wolves p. 356 para. 5

Are you familiar with this energy? Or are you at least willing to invite her to express herself through you? What were you feeling during the previous full moon?
